I have a Schimmel SP 6' grand piano made in 1999 (this model was discontinued several years ago). The custom cover made by American Piano Covers fits perfectly, and the color appears to match the color displayed on the order form. The side slits make it incredibly easy to play a quick piece without removing the entire cover. I just roll back the front section over the keys. The material folds down easily without bunching.
I opted for the custom embroidery and it really makes the cover pop. It looks like a custom piece from a high-end boutique but at a fraction of the cost.
Side slits were a total game changed for me. I had a 20 year old heavy, thick padded cover that I would have to take on and off each time I play, leaving the cover in a big pile on the couch. Now I can just open up the front of the cover and play the piano. I wish I would have got this much sooner.
