I was impressed by the quality of the material of this piano cover (we chose the black premium quilt). It's much nicer than our old velvet cover, and the piano looks nicer in our living room having a cover that was made to fit it.
After discussing it with customer support, I ordered a custom full-length black vinyl cover to help protect my Steinway from dust while we did some home renovations. It's done a great job blocking the construction dust and debris in the air from reaching the piano. I come through every few days and just wipe the dust off the cover with a towel. Glad I ordered it. The cover has been working out well for us. I went with the black quilt, since my piano is in front of the window and I was worried about heat retention. I debated on if I should get the side slits or not, but after having the cover for a few weeks, I'm glad I did. Makes it real easy to just walk over to the piano and play it, without having the hassle of taking the cover off or bunching it on top to play it.
